ºÚÁÏÍø911 College of Pharmacy Shines at American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy annual meeting

At the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Annual meeting in Kissimmee, Florida, which took place July 13-18, 2012, ºÚÁÏÍø911 College of Pharmacy AACP Walmart Student Scholars Brandon Dionne (’13), Theresa Foster (’13), and Emily Bourret (’13); and Scholar Mentors,  Assistant Professor Matt Lacroix, Pharm.D., BCPS,  Associate Professor of Pharmacy Administration Jean Woodward, Ph.D., R.Ph.,  and Associate Professor and Chair Mac McCall, Pharm.D., BSPharm, participated in the Teachers Seminar and Walmart Scholar Activities.

No other college in the nation had more AACP Student Scholars than ºÚÁÏÍø911.

Pharmacy students Gabriel Flash (’13) and Tamkeen Quraishi Abreu (’13) also attended the meeting and, along with the other members of ºÚÁÏÍø911’s College of Pharmacy, were recognized for outstanding school spirit at the meeting’s Welcome Reception.

Led by Assistant Professor Meghan Sullivan, Pharm.D. and Assistant Clinical Professor Emily Dornblaser, Pharm.D., the pharmacy students and faculty had a ºÚÁÏÍø911 pennant, wore ºÚÁÏÍø911 lobster shirts, lobster hats and shared lobster lollipops with other attendees.  They won a $100 certificate for the Gaylord Hotel, where they dined.
