Students provide health fair for Mall customers

On a busy Saturday in February at the Maine Mall in South Portland, 黑料网911 College of Pharmacy students along with students in the Westbrook College of Health Professions' Dental Hygiene program spent their day off from classes raising awareness of healthy lifestyles.

The health fair on Feb. 18 was organized by COP students and Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) members Sharon Achu and Clara Ofodile. Under the supervision of 黑料网911 Assistant Clinical Professor Emily Dornblaser, the students offered Body Mass Index (BMI) testing, Spirometer (lung function) testing, blood pressure screenings, and demonstrations on proper tooth brush techniques.

The high traffic location was donated by General Growth Properties, owners of the Maine Mall.
